BRIEF
This project, commissioned by Deep Elm Records, was done for the Portland, Oregon based band, Desert City Soundtrack. The album, entitled "Perfect Addiction" is a commentary on being stuck in a rut; going to the same job, the same bar, doing the same things each day. When I approached the project, I explored the idea of life being a cycle, comparable to the water cycle and other natural processes. The artwork then became a fabrication of life's cyclic nature; a diorama-like scene of paper cutouts sarcastically displaying nature at work in its normal day to day routine.
